'Cosy Country'
Saturdays 9am Listen to Evelyn Miles each Saturday for 3 hours of a pleasant mix of Country Music, from Old Time favourites to the Country Music of today. Pure Country!! A feature of the show is regular programs dedicated entirely to Australian Artists ~ a favourite of many a patriotic Aussie!! Evelyn welcomes requests! If she hasn't got it with her, rest assured she will get it for you for the next week. |
'Roots, Rock & Blues'
10am Mondays Col Tritton. This programme is predominantly Rock and Blues based, interspersed with popular music from the 1960s to the present. It is an exploration of the Blues and its influence on so much of the music that we listen to. I strive to engage my audience through the presentation of artists and songs that evoke memories and past experiences. There is so much good music out there and only so many hours to present it. Another feature of the program is a short presentation during the school terms, for students from Moruya Public School from about 12.10pm. These enthusiastic little people present their school’s news, story reading and other personal school activities and achievements. |
‘Welcome to My World’
Sunday morning's at 9:00 Presenter Cherie Hall describes the show as ‘beautiful voices, loving words with music to touch the heart’. Cherie says that her show provides ‘a touch of inspiration which leaves a softness to help you through your day’. 'Country Kick Off' Saturday Mornings at 6am, eases you into the morning with the gentle, quiet touch of Old Favorite Country Classics from original and new Artists. Catch up on your Country News at around 7:15 and the Community Bulletin Board at 7:30. Keep listening in because at 7:45 Cherie will bring you the up to date information from Station Sponsor, The Tomakin Sports & Social Club. On the hour, every hour there is News, Sport & Weather. 8:10 is Interview time and at 8:30 Local Sports News. Where is the music you ask? Cherie also manages to slot in plenty of great Country Music and promotes new releases from both Independent & Contracted Artists. |
'High Noon'
Saturdays, 12 Noon with Scottie & Marie Norton Host Scottie Norton has a wide variety of music from the 50’s through to today. These include rock and roll, pop, country old and new. The second song is always for the children. Scott also likes to play Australian artists that are not well known in main stream music. Artist’s new to the game trying to make their mark. Requests are welcome. For a light hearted afternoon of laughter and music join Scottie and his offsider Marie as they entertain you with their off the cuff shots at one another and Scottie’s huge collection of music. |

'Good Morning Variety'
Tuesday's at 7:00am Rock/ Country A light, bright programme, packed with community information, interviews and a variety of music from the 60s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today. Music ranges from Rock ‘n’ Roll, Blues, Easy Listening, Reggae to mid-range Country Music, with a strong flavour of Australian talent in the mix. Host Kathy Shields believes that ‘laughter is the best medicine’, so the programme includes regular doses of ‘happy pills’. Kathy also hosts ‘Breakfast with the Girl’ every second Friday at 7:00AM til 10:00AM. Kathy’s breakfast music is Country, from the classic oldies to today and new releases from Independent artists, world-wide. |
"Somewhere Between Rhyme & Reason" Saturdays from 3 to 5pm. with Tory Parker Tory is a local poet who presents a very entertaining program for two hours each Saturday. As well as her own splendid poetry she features other well known and not so well known Australian poets and their works. 'Spinnin with Sandie' Tuesdays at 10:00am
Presenter Sandie Bye says that the recipe for her programme is as follows; ‘Take some bright and bubbly music. Add some Easy Listening ballads. Mix with some Blues and Jazz. Add a little bit of Country.’ Sandie invites you to go back with her to ‘the baby-boomer comfort days of the 50s and 60’s, and then forward right through to the ‘noughties’. When presenting "Brekkie With The Girl" Sandie's intention is to give you a front row seat, as if you are again, at your favourite cabaret show or concert! Dr. Dianne McInnes "Dr Di's Diversity" Tuesday's 3 to 5pm. Dr. Dianne McInnes - no not a medical doctor, a Criminologist. Dianne presents a diverse program of 60's to 90's music interposed with helpful holistic hints and a monthly book review. Local writers are encouraged to send in their books for review! Di will also play some harp and saxophone music. The interest in those particular styles stems from her having made a Celtic harp and is learning the saxophone!
